blueprint100 drawing workshops Opportunity

By September 27, 2016Opportunities

Would you like to develop your drawing skills? Never drawn before but would like to try it out? Drifted from drawing since art school and would like to get back in to it? Looking to develop your portfolio for an art school application?

img_0747This November, blueprint100’s Open Tuesdays are getting focused! blueprint100 is the Stove Network’s young crowd: aged anywhere between 15 and under thirty, but from a variety of backgrounds including recent graduates, emerging artists, and those interested in going to art school, or the generally curious and open-minded looking to meet new creative people in Dumfries.

Starting on the 1st of November we will be running a series of five drawing workshops, every Tuesday between 5 and 7pm. These workshops are free to attend, however you must commit to at least 4 out of 5 of the workshops to secure a place. No previous drawing experience is necessary, but those of all levels are welcome. All materials will be provided, and the sessions will be led by drawing teacher Frank Hayes.

Some of the workshops will be very open to interpretation and expression, some will be a little more focused towards creating a body of work that we will look to exhibit in some form at the conclusion of the workshop programme, or in the early new year.
