Brave New Words
June 24 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Welcome to our monthly marvellous open mic at the Stove Cafe.
1. a person who tells anecdotes in a skilful and amusing way.
“a colourful raconteur”
An open mic night for words spoken, sung, shot, signed or silenced.
Brave New Words returns this June to the Stove Cafe. This month our theme is ‘raconteur’.
Do you have an anecdote to leave us dumbfounded or dazzled? Can you make the weekly shop sound as enthralling as wee Frodo’s quest to destroy the one ring?
Come one and all, to our June edition of Brave New Words.
Tickets are free, and you can BYOB! The Stove Cafe will also be open for food and drink.
This month’s poster is by illustrator and designer Callai Watson
