Creative Spaces: Dystoveia Escape Room

Calling all thrill-seekers, budding detectives, and puzzle fiends! An immersive escape room experience set in the parallel universe of dystopian Dumfries.

For our August 2023 programme, we will be transforming the hidden chambers of the Stove Café to invite you on a memorable adventure in a reimagined version of our town. 

Dumfries has fallen under the control of an oppressive regime who have just announced that they will be shutting off the power supply in Dumfries and turning it into a Ghost Town. Your team of rebels have managed to infiltrate the high security government control room and the town is locked down on red alert as they try to hunt you down. It is up to you to save the town in time and to escape before state officials discover you.

Following an in-depth storyline that unveils secrets of Dumfries and the authoritarian regime, you and your team must work together to uncover hidden clues and solve a variety of puzzles in order to progress and beat the clock.

We encourage you to come alone and meet new people on this mission. However, this is not a requirement so feel free to bring a friend or loved one if preferred. 

Participants must pre-book their sessions to ensure availability. The groups for each session will reflect the booking numbers made through eventbrite so please ensure you book together if you wish to be part of the same session. 

This event is 16+. (As this is a Creative Spaces programmed event, this event has been designed specifically for 16-30 year olds but is open to all who are interested in taking part).
