Doughlicious Bread Club

An informal gathering of amateur and professional bakers: exploring techniques and sharing recipes, home-baked breads and books. This month it’s all about starters for sourdough. Liz will talk us through the process of using and feeding a starter and may have some starters to give away so you can take some home to try yourself.
Please note, we don’t have an oven here, we won’t be baking bread on the night. The last two meetings, people brought their own breads in for everyone to try and share methods. We’ve had spelt sourdough, flax and sunflower yeast bread, cinnamon sourdough roll, stromboli with smoked cheese and olives, ciabatta, homemade butter and lots of other tasty delights.
