- Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID19, have been instructed to isolate or are waiting for test results.

Launch of Heliopolis, poems by Hugh McMillan

Luath Press and Waterstones host the Launch of Hugh McMillan’s new poetry collection Heliopolis. The book comprises new work by one of Scotland’s finest poets and one of Dumfries and Galloway’s most prodigious native talents. There will be a reading and refreshments!
Hugh McMillan is an award winning poet who lives in Penpont. His poetry has been published, anthologised and broadcast widely over the last 25 years. In 2017 his poetry pamphlet Sheepenned won the Callum Macdonald prize. He was also in 2017 Writer in residence at the Harvard Summer School. Heliopolis is his sixth full collection of poetry.
