We strive to make sure that all in attendance to a Stove event have a safe and enjoyable experience. When booked to attend a Stove event, the following should be adhered to:
The Climate Kitchen, run by local community members, is a space for learning, sharing, contributing and working together to do something positive for the climate!
This session will be the second cycle-inspired edition of Climate Kitchen…
Two of our Climate Kitchen organisers, Kirsty and Katie, will be giving presentations about cycle-tours they’ve been on and give top tips and advice on where to start if you’re thinking of doing the same!
This will be followed by some Cycle-tastic Activity Tables, including route planning, infrastructure chat, reading corner AND a tutorial and chance to practice how to fix a puncture!
In the reading corner there will be a chance to view and chat about ‘Forget Me Not: Finding the forgotten species of climate-change Britain’ by Sophie Pavelle. ‘Sophie challenged herself to find them the low-carbon way, travelling the length of Britain on foot, by bicycle, in an electric car, by kayak, on ferries and in a lot of trains.’
The Stove Cafe will be open for food and drink from 5.30pm, so if you’ve got an appetite for change OR an appetite for a cuppa and some locally sourced food then we look forward to seeing you there!
Doors open at 5.30pm for food, the event starts at 7pm sharp.
