Open Hoose: Climate Kitchen – The Power of Bees
February 17 @ 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Where does the nature of Power lie?
As part of this month’s Climate Kitchen, artist Andy Brooke will be sharing his latest new work The Power of Bees, a stained-glass panel linking screen-printed images of the Sizewell B nuclear power station in Suffolk and the concept of bees as essential elements of human survival.
Originally from Suffolk but now based in Dumfries, Andy will be sharing his new work at the next Climate Kitchen event and hosting a discussion about the themes present in the work.
The Power of Bees will then be on display in the Stove Café windows until Saturday 4th March.

The Climate Kitchen, run by local community members, is a space for learning, sharing, contributing and working together to do something positive for the climate!
The Stove Cafe will be open for food and drink from 5.30pm, so if you’ve got an appetite for change OR an appetite for a cuppa and some locally sourced food then we look forward to seeing you there!
Doors open at 5.30pm for food, the event starts at 7pm sharp.
