Opportunity: Stove Administrator


We are looking for someone to join our Operations Team, based at The Stove, 100 High Street, Dumfries.

The role is 25 hours per week, ideally 5 hours a day Monday to Friday, although we can be flexible. Some evening and weekend hours will be required. Occasional travel within the working day is to be expected as there will be frequent contact with individuals, organisations and groups in the community.
Salary: £8.45 per hour
Applicants must be aged 16-29

Detailed Task List

Front of House – respond to phonecalls, enquiries, emails
Maintain effective administrative systems
Order stationery and equipment
Assist with event and project management, monitoring and evaluation
Coordinate and minute team meetings
Assist with annual reports
Process membership and volunteer requests
Develop membership communications
Manage petty cash
Assist with logging invoices and filing
Research potential funding opportunities
Assist with communications & marketing

Our administrator opportunity is part-funded by Community Jobs Scotland, which is a scheme to both support community projects and create opportunities for groups of people the government target as needing help into employment.
