Electric Fields Signage..
Our friends at the Electric Fields festival have asked The Stove to make the signs for going around the festival site. If you would like to join the team producing the signs please get in touch with katie@thestove.org.  FREE TICKETS to the festival are on offer to anyone who can commit 2 day to helping out with the signs – no specific experience is necessary, just very basic ability with a paintbrush and some patience!
NB. We are running our monthly Open Workshop Day on signpainting this month – so if you are interested in the Electric Fields project, why not pop into The Stove on Thursday 30th June anytime between 2pm and 8pm to have a shot at sign painting and catch a chat with folk involved.

Volunteers Wanted for Norwegian Skill Share
The next event in the ‘Our Nowegian Story’ project is a three-day public Skill-Share on 11,12,13th July which will see opportunities to learn skills including: traditional boat building, rope making and knitting. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the events and can offer travel expenses and food money – you can help on one day or all three. Please contact katharine@thestove.org for details

D+G College Public Art
We’ve had a request from the good people running the arts course at DG College for anyone who is undertaking a Public Art project locally in the first half of 2017 – they are looking for an opportunity for students to gain experience of public art practice by working alongside a live project. Please get in touch with Jo Shennan at the College
