February’s Climate Kitchen: The Environmental Life Cycle of an Item.

Have you ever considered all the work that goes into making even a plain white T shirt? How many materials are involved, where they’re all grown, mined, or manufactured, who does all the making and in what conditions, or how many times round the world the components of your product travel before being delivered to your high street or doorstep?

This month we’ll be dissecting the global footprint of everyday items and asking ourselves: what items justify the environmental impact of producing them, and are there more eco alternatives?  

Climate Kitchen is open to anyone and everyone!

Accessibility Information 

Access to the Building:

• Level Access is available at the rear of the building through the adjacent close located to the left-hand side of the Café (when facing the front of the building). 

Hearing Loop:

• We have a hearing loop system installed in the café to support individuals using hearing aids or cochlear implants.
