Behavin’?
Behavin’ is an annual festival of performance, interruption, music and live art in an upside down world. First held in July of 2019, Behavin’ brought together some of the finest and most absurd projects, performers and pieces in the spirit of the absurd. Featuring the World’s Smallest Music Venue, broken umbrellas, drag performance, phone box poetry and an elevator theatre produced, devised and directed and crafted by young artists throughout Scotland.
Behavin’ in 2019 included:
- Zoe Pearson’s Press Play, an intimate performance for one in the Stove’s lift
- Harm (Less) by Hannah Wright, immersive theatre performance
- Broken Brolly’s by Charneh Watson on Dumfries High Street
- The World’s Smallest Music Venue curated by DMC
Amongst other performance and live art pieces, including workshops, installations and pop-up theatre.
Behavin’ makes its return next year…this ain’t for the faint of heart.
