In Spring 2018, D-Lux Arts CIC, Dumfries’ annual Light Festival was commissioned by The Stove to create Whoose Hoose for the Midsteeple Quarter, turning the former Bakers Oven into a live video jukebox, playing specially created films on request every evening from dusk until late.

Supported by a series of community workshops hosted in the town centre and with local youth groups, local artists, emerging creatives and enthusiastic local people were invited to create their own short films which were projected onto the buildings facade, activated by a mobile phone app that you could select from the High Street.

The project ran from February to April 2018, including an Awards Ceremony at the Stove to celebrate the best films produced for the Jukebox!
